We understand how nerve-racking it is to leave your pet behind when you have to travel. We take pride in fostering an environment that will make your pet most comfortable and give you a sense of peace knowing your pet is in responsible and caring hands. Below you’ll find detailed answers to our most frequently asked questions regarding our pet boarding services.

What are the requirements for boarding?In addition to completing the required documentation and formal Meet & Greet to understand your pet's needs and your expectations as the pet parent, the following must also be true about your pet: current on all required vaccinations. Which include: Rabies Vaccination Bordetella Vaccination Negative Fecal test H3N2 and H3N8 Canine Influenza (dogs only) DHPP Distemper /Parvo Vaccination (dogs only) FVRCP Vaccination (cats only) must be friendly with people must be free of any open wounds or stitches must be free of ticks and fleas and on a flea/tick prevention regimen

What kind of pets are allowed?We love all animals! However, our services are designed specifically for cats and dogs that are at least 3 months (14 weeks) old and in overall good health.

What should I expect during the meet and greet?Every first-time customer is required to complete a meet and greet to ensure we can provide a safe and comfortable environment for your pet. During the 30-45 minute meet and greet, a member of our team will: review the service agreement with you ask you pet-specific questions to learn more about your pet and their needs provide a tour of our facility and give you an opportunity to ask any questions to ensure you are comfortable with us caring for your pet. At some point during the meet and greet a staff member will take your pet for a short yet thorough temperament test.

Can the meet & greet be virtual?We highly recommend you meet with a team member in-person for the full experience. However, we do offer a virtual option for cat parents. Nonetheless, we understand there may be instances that warrant a virtual appointment for dog parents, please call us and we can discuss this further. CALL US: ‪(919) 275-0819‬

Are there breed restrictions?No. We welcome all cat and dog breeds, depending on their behavior and ability to handle our environment. We do have a no-human aggression policy; we CAN NOT care for any pets that show signs of aggression towards humans.

What if my pet is not friendly towards other animals?We separate our pets by activity level, temperament, and size. However, we understand that not all pets do well around other animals. Hence, for an additional $10 per night, we can ensure your dog only interacts with an experienced team member. Cats who are not from the same household are not allowed to socialize with other pets.

What is the minimum number of nights I can make a reservation for?We get so excited when we have an opportunity to care for your pet! We recommend your pet stay a minimum of 2 nights, however, you are more than welcome to check out early. The second night is not refundable and the price is not prorated for early checkout.

When can I check in and check out my pet?You can check in your pet anytime on the day of your reservation during operating hours. Check-out is at 12:00 pm on the last day of the reservation. If you pick up your pet after the grace period you will be charged an additional night.

Do I need to bring my pet's food?Yes. We highly recommend that you bring your pet's food in order to prevent them from getting sick during their stay. Sudden changes in diet can result in gastrointestinal reactions like vomiting and diarrhea. All meals should be pre-measured, in zip lock bags, to ensure that your pet has enough for their entire stay. Please label the bag with your pet’s name and feeding time. Please ensure that your pet has enough food for the entirety of their stay plus one extra feeding.

Should I bring anything for my pet’s stay?Yes. If you wish to bring your own bedding, toys, or anything else that may make your pet feel more at home, we are happy to accommodate. However, we can provide your pet with bedding, bowls, and lots of treats! If you choose to bring any items for your pet or pets, we reserve the right to refuse any toys and to stop using them at any time if we believe that they have become hazardous to your pet or have fleas or ticks. We do our best to return all items but are not responsible for any lost items or the condition they may be returned in.

Can you administer my pet’s medication(s)? Is there a charge?Yes. We are happy to administer your dog’s medication, free of charge. However, we do not give any injected medications. For the safety of your pet, we ask that the medication must be in its original bottle.

Do you have accommodations for elderly dogs?Yes. We love seasoned dogs! During the meet and greet, we will determine what environment is the most appropriate fit for your dog. Our team members are constantly evaluating the behavior and comfort levels of all our dogs at all times. If at any point, we feel as though your dog may be tired or not comfortable we will return them to their suite where they can relax with the help of our calming diffuser, white noise machine, and music.

Do you have accommodations for puppies?Yes! We have a program designed specifically for puppies between 14 weeks - 5 months. Puppies will only interact with their small cohort and receive VIP treatment: Basic obedience training sessions ​daily Personalized play Luxury puppy suites Calming diffuser, white noise machine, and music daily FREE express bath on the day of departure and more!

Can any dog come in for day care?No. Unfortunately, our daycare services are reserved for overnight dogs staying the minimum of 2 nights. If your dog is boarding with us and has successfully completed our screening process during the meet and greet they will participate in at least 4 hrs of daycare per night. If daycare is not the safest option for your pet we do offer individualized options. For an additional $15 per night, we can ensure your dog only interacts with an experienced team member. Your pet will have, at minimum, three 1-hour private play sessions every day with our trusted team member.

Are you open on Sundays? What are your hours of operation?We are open Monday - Saturday 8:00 am -6: 00 pm. We are only open from 8:00 m - 12 pm on Sundays for check-out.

Is there someone that will stay overnight with my pet?No. However, our facility has 24/7 monitored temperature control, fire, and security alarms. The staff will be notified if there are any issues after regular hours and can get there quickly if needed. You can also check on your pet in their private suite any time on the mobile app or website if you added "pet cam" to your reservation.

When do I make a payment for a reservation?Payments can submitted online, over the phone with a team member, or in person during business operation hours. We also accept cash app. and Zelle. Call for more details.

What is the cancellation policy?Reservations need to be canceled at least two calendar days before the scheduled arrival date, or guests will be charged a two-night penalty. The deposit (2 night minimum) is required at booking.

What if I need to extend my reservation?Please call us as soon as possible and let us know the details of the extension; depending on availability we may be able to honor the request.

What if I need to pick up my pet early?You ou are more than welcome to check out early. The remaining nights are non-refundable and the price is not prorated for early checkout.

What will you do incase of an emergency?All our team members are certified in pet CPR and first aid. In the rare event of an injury or illness, we will quickly assess the situation to determine the best plan of action to take. Depending on the situation, our team will either take your dog to your personal vet or rush them to the closest emergency vet. We will contact you as soon as we can if this ever occurs.
